NRole Description:
NWe are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to head the quality department at our plant, with a robust focus on rubber molded and rubber-to-metal bonded components. The person will own the complete quality management system - documentation, implementation, and audits - and will be responsible for quality right from incoming rubber compound to final dispatch. The role includes leading the QC inspectors and lab technicians working across shifts. This is a hands-on role, and we expect the person to spend time on the shop floor, not only in reports and meetings.

- Own the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system across the company, including document control, internal audits, CAPA, and management review. N
- Prepare and maintain all QMS documentation independently - quality manual, procedures, work instructions, control plans, formats, and records. N
- Face customer audits, certification audits, and product standard audits;
prepare PPAP documents and audit files wherever required. N
- Check and approve incoming rubber compounds on rheometer, hardness, and specific gravity before release to production. N
- Inspect metal inserts, bonding agents, and other bought-out items, and follow up with suppliers on rejections and corrective actions. N
- Give first-off approvalat every mold setup across compression, transfer, and injection molding. N
- Carry out patrol inspection during production as per the control plan. N
- Work with production toreduce molding defects
