nResponsibilities and Duties
n

n1. Goods & Services Tax (GST)
n1.1. Monthly Compliance
n
- n
- File GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B on time.n
- Perform GSTR-2B reconciliation with books.n
- Match output tax and input tax entries with the Electronic Credit Ledger.n
- Reconcile bank entries relating to GST with the Electronic Cash Ledger.n

n1.2. Annual Compliance

- n




- Apply for Letter of Undertaking (LUT) once a year.n
- File GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C annually.n

n2. Income Tax
n2.1. Annual

- n
- Coordinate with statutory auditor for annual computation and tax audit filing.n
- Perform final reconciliation before finalising financials.n

n2.2. Quarterly
n
- n
- Reconcile Form 26AS with books to confirm customers have given correct TDS credits.n

n2.3. Monthly / Transaction-wise
n
- n
- Pass entries for TDS receivables on customer invoices to track correct credits.n

n3. Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) – Payables
n3.1. Annual
n
- n
- File Form 13 in April for lower deduction certificate with required documentation.n

n3.2. Quarterly
n
- n
- File TDS returns accurately and on time.n

n3.3. Monthly
n

- Make timely TDS payments.n
- Reconcile TDS returns with books.n
- Check TDS applicability on every payment before processing; do not proc
