Job Summary
- Northern Trust is seeking a Credit Risk skilled with strong technical expertise in SAS, Python and understanding of CECL, CCAR stress testing process.
- The role offers high visibility, frequent interaction with senior credit risk leadership, Data, IT, Controllers and Northern's auditors.





Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end ownership of CECL and CCAR model execution processes, including oversight of model adjustments, overlays, governance reviews, and presentation of results, risks, and recommendations to senior management and governance committees.
- Lead complex quantitative analyses, scenario assessments, overlay quantification and sensitivity testing to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Lead collaboration with Risk, Finance, Model Development, Model Validation, Technology, Accounting Policy and Auditors
- Establish and maintain a robust control environment, ensuring compliance with SOX, Internal Audit, and Regulatory requirements while proactively identifying and mitigating operational and model risks.
