Job Description
- Lead the Product Excellence agenda across the end-to-end product development and commercialisation lifecycle.
- Build and institutionalise SOPs, stage-gates, governance frameworks, KPIs and best practices to improve speed, quality and commercial outcomes.
- Drive product development from consumer and market insights through concept, design, materials, development, costing, sourcing, quality and commercialisation.
- Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the product development engine.
- Partner closely with Design, Product Development, Sourcing, Materials, Quality, Supply Chain, Commercial and global teams.
- Bring global footwear trends, consumer insights,



materials and product innovations to the Indian market through international exposure and benchmarking.
- Build organisational capability through frameworks, mentoring and development of product teams.
- Contribute to strengthening exports and developing globally competitive products.
- The role is expected to evolve into broader leadership of the Product Development & Commercialisation function.

The Successful Applicant
- 15- 20 years of experience in the footwear industry, with solid exposure to product development, design and/or product creation.
- Preferably educated at FDDI, NIFT, NID or a similar institution.
- Strong foundation in footwear design/product creation, ideally followed by experience in product strategy, development, commercialisation or product excellence.
- Strong understanding of consumer insights, footwear trends, materials, sourcing, costing and product innovation.
