Key responsibilities
• partner with the GWM India Operating Head to drive business management, governance and operational priorities for GWM India
• support execution of the long-term GWM business strategy in India, including organizational, growth, regulatory and transformation initiatives
• strengthen the first line of defense control workplace through proactive risk oversight, issue remediation and stakeholder engagement
• build strong partnerships across Finance, Human Resources, Compliance, Operational Risk, Technology and other control functions
• identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve governance and enhance operational effectiveness
The team
You will be working in the GWM APAC Operating Head team in Mumbai. The team serves as a central coordination point for business management, governance, strategic execution and risk oversight activities supporting GWM onshore business in India. We work closely with local, regional and global stakeholders to ensure the business remains aligned with its strategic objectives,



regulatory obligations and risk management responsibilities.
You will work directly with the GWM India Operating Head and have regular exposure to senior business leaders, control functions and regional management teams.
Your skills and experience
• ideally 8+ years of experience in business management, COO, risk management, governance, strategy, business transformation or a related function within financial services
• strong understanding of governance frameworks, operational risk management, controls and first line of defense responsibilities within a banking or wealth management environment
• demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives and deliver outcomes across a complex stakeholder landscape
• strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear management insights and recommendations
• experience supporting senior leadership teams and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
