Job Summary
Valeo Management is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Finance Intern to support our finance department with various tasks and projects. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in financial analysis, reporting, and operations within a energetic business environment.
Job Responsibilities
* Assist with financial data collection, analysis, and reconciliation.
* Support the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and budgets.
* Conduct research on market trends, financial performance, and industry benchmarks.
* Participate in the month-end closing process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
* Help maintain and organize financial records and documentation.
* Collaborate with team members on ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives.
* Assist in identifying areas for process improvement within the finance function.
Job Qualifications
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or pursuing CMA.
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills with meticulous attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) is essential.
* Familiarity with financial accounting principles and practices.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Prior internship experience in finance or accounting is a plus.
