We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health Actuarial team at Mercer, a Marsh business. This role will be based in Gurgaon/Noida. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Specialist / Senior Specialist - Actuarial (C Level)

Mercer’s GSD Health Actuarial team is seeking candidate for various roles to support client engagements focused on U.S. employers’ healthcare advantages strategy and financials. This is a hands-on role working with U.S. consulting & Actuarial teams to deliver high-quality analysis and client materials. The successful candidate will be an individual contributor who is developing into a lead role – occasionally presenting to clients, guiding junior analysts, and partnering with senior colleagues.

We will count on you for:
• Process, validate and update data in actuarial and financial models like experience monitoring, Reserving, regulatory reporting, etc.
• Prepare and analyze actuarial and financial reports for US H&B; clients




• Peer reviews the reports prepared by the team members and share observations
• Liaison with onshore consultants for any data or project related queries resolution
• Participate and contribute to any special project requirements
• Support in any new transitions, documentation and creation of PMAPs and SOP
• Mentors/ trains the team members on process related queries
• Complete scope and estimate effort & timelines for all projects or consulting tasks, ensuring effective utilization of team resources and developing the culture of delivering operational excellence.

What you need to have:
• Minimum 3 years of actuarial experience, US H&B; Actuarial experience is preferred.
• Any graduate degree – preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, or another quantitatively rigorous discipline.
• Must have passed CS1 and CM1 exams from IAI or IFoA - and preferably 5+ actuarial exams cleared, or equivalen
