Role Purpose
As Senior Specialist - Payroll at Accelya, you will lead payroll processing for complex multi-country populations, acting as the technical payroll authority on legislation, systems and process design, driving automation and ensuring payroll operates with the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Lead payroll processing for complex multi-country employee populations, acting as the technical payroll authority on legislation, system capability and process design
• Drive payroll automation using Workday Payroll AI, CloudPay AI anomaly detection and automated reconciliation tools,



significantly reducing manual intervention
• Manage global payroll compliance risk, monitoring legislative changes and translating them into timely payroll system and process updates
• Lead payroll projects including system upgrades, current country implementations, M&A; payroll integration and payroll vendor assessments
• Conduct payroll audits, ensuring accuracy, compliance and control effectiveness across all payroll runs
• Mentor junior payroll team members and build team capability in Workday Payroll, AI tools and multi-jurisdiction compliance
• Act as the primary escalation or equivalent point for complex payroll queries from employees, HRBPs and Finance

Required Experience & Skills
• 5–8 years of payroll experience, including multi-country payroll management and system implementation
• Deep knowledge of payroll legislation across multiple jurisdictions
• Expert Workday Payroll capa
