We are seeking a talented individual to join our technology team at Mercer. This role will be based in Gurugram. This is a hybrid rule that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Technology | Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role:
The candidate will be responsible for estimating/plan test efforts and communicating test results. The candidate should have experience in testing data validation scenarios and Data pipelines, and transformation processes (ETL).

• Education Qualification: B.Tech/MCA

We will count on you to:
• Experience in testing data validation scenarios and Data pipelines, and transformation processes (ETL)

• Demonstrated experience of working with automated testing tools for Data Validations

• Experience in testing Web Based applications and APIs

• Understanding of HTTP Fundamentals - HTTP Verbs/Cookies/Caching

• Understanding of Rest Based APIs.

• Experience with complex software features, and build effective test plans





• Strong Experience with SQL

What you need to have:

• Understanding of Unix/Linux Commands.

• Exposure to Jenkins/git

• Robust Logical Reasoning

• Exposure to AWS (especially RDS / Redshift / Glue / Athena)

• Strong Skills in Java/Python and TestNG

• Strong Communication Skills - Able to express clearly and confidently

• High enthusiasm and zeal to learn and adapt to changing situations
