Role Purpose: The purpose of this role is to act as the overall owner of the Prophet models for the five Africa business units. The role will include responsibilities for enhancing reporting methodologies (IFRS17, EV, local statutory basis) in Prophet, and validation/sign-off of coding of current products in Prophet. The role will directly manage one junior Prophet resource. In addition,



the role holder will be responsible for supporting complex reporting processes under IFRS 17, Embedded Value (EV) and regulatory frameworks, coordinating with multiple actuarial stakeholders in both the Africa business units and the Africa regional team.

Working closely with Africa Chief Actuary and Africa Actuarial VCC Team Lead to align on 2026 priorities and leading the execution of these priorities. Some examples include enhancements on EV variances calculations, moving from EEV reporting to TEV etc.
