Introduction:
GlobalFoundries is looking for a highly motivated Engineer Tapeout Engineering to work in the Global Tapeout and Mask Operations (GTMO) organization, based in Bengaluru. The successful candidate will work with 100% quality and Best in Class cycle time in mind. This role requires a close working relationship and collaboration with internal teams like Optical Proximity Correction (OPC), Frame, Tapeout Logistics and Integration (TLI), Global Shuttle Operations (GSO), Product Life Cycle Manufacturing (PLCM) etc.,



to provide exceptional tapeout services in the increasingly complex and competitive world of semiconductor wafer manufacturing.

Your Job:
• The roles and responsibilities will include engaging in daily tapeout operations such as Design Rule Checking (DRC), Mask Data Preparation, Validation of tapeout data, Releasing data for fracture and other activities.
• Collaborate with Global Tapeout Operations teams to develop and Implement methodologies to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve cycle times.
• Solve complex technical problems and contribute to multiple projects at the same time.
• Demonstrate solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ensure all processes align with industry standards and meet project timelines.
• To assist the management in the collection of tapeout metrics and KPIs monthly and help in developing action plans to address deviations from targets.
