Your Impact:
As a Principal Software Developer, you will define and own the target-state architecture for decomposing a monolithic .NET application into containerized modern .NET (.NET 8+) microservices deployed on a Kubernetes (Linux) platform on Google Cloud Platform (GKE). You will set technical direction, service boundaries, and standards, and guide engineering teams through highly complex design, migration,

and infrastructure decisions.

What the role offers:
• Define the microservices decomposition strategy (e.g., strangler-fig pattern) and service/domain boundaries for the monolith
• Own the technical roadmap for migrating from .NET Framework to up-to-date .NET (.NET 8+)
• Architect containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes deployment topology for Linux environments, including networking, scaling, and service mesh considerations
• Define API contracts, inter-service communication (REST/gRPC/messaging), and data ownership boundaries
• Produce high-quality architecture and design specifications; deliver POCs and estimates at short notice on technology choices
• Lead architecture/design reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards
• Set standards for observability, security, and GitLab CI/CD across all microservices
• Mentor Lead and Senior Engineers; guide them to deliver high-quali
