About the role
We are looking for an experienced Network & Security Engineer to provide advanced technical support and administration for enterprise Data Centre, Network and Security infrastructure.
The role will be responsible for L3 troubleshooting, complex incident resolution, root cause analysis, network/security implementation, infrastructure upgrades, change management, technical documentation, OEM coordination and mentoring of L1/L2 engineers.
The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Cisco Nexus Data Centre switching, routing, load balancing, firewalls and enterprise network security and should be capable of independently handling critical production issues in a 24×7 Data Centre environment.
* Provide L3 technical support for enterprise Network and Security infrastructure.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security incidents.
* Act as the technical escalation point for L1/L2 teams.
* Support critical production incidents and participate in major incident bridges.
* Perform detailed troubleshooting using logs, packet captures, device statistics and configuration analysis.
* Ensure timely restoration of services while maintaining proper change and security procedures.
2. Cisco Data Centre Networking
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus switches, including:
* Cisco Nexus 9000 series
* Layer 2 and Layer 3 configuration
* VLAN,
