This role focuses on retaining and expanding relationships with larger and more complex small and medium-sized business customers across an assigned territory. You will act as a trusted account partner, developing consultative retention strategies that protect revenue while creating opportunities for sustainable growth. The position combines customer relationship management, contract negotiation, revenue protection, and business development. You will work closely with sales and internal teams to resolve customer challenges, identify opportunities, and align solutions with evolving customer needs. Beyond managing your own book of business, you will also contribute to team development by mentoring account management and sales professionals. • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer account management matters across an assigned book of business, maintaining strong customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.

• Develop and execute proactive retention strategies designed to protect revenue, achieve retention targets, and maintain mutually beneficial customer relationships.

• Align products and services with customer requirements while using consultative selling techniques to increase account penetration and identify additional opportunities.

• Negotiate, update, and renew customer service agreements, educating customers on contract terms and using effective negotiation strategies to maximize profitable business outcomes.
