Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the software development lifecycle and contribute to writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Assist in building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and high-performance platforms
• Support the design and development of frameworks and reusable components
• Contribute to the preparation of High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents
• Work closely with team members to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables
• Follow engineering best practices and coding standards during development
• Assist in handling customer queries and resolving issues in coordination with support teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Validation, Implementation, Support, Documentation, and Solutioning
• Participate in discussions with internal stakeholders as required
• Contribute to team learning, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives

Mandatory Skills

Technical Skills:

• Valuable working knowledge of Java (preferably Java 11 or above)




• Hands-on experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate and JPA
• Experience with unit testing using JUnit and mocking frameworks like Mockito
• Working knowledge of Spring Core and Spring Boot
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
• Basic to intermediate experience with messaging systems such as Kafka
• Understanding of software design patterns and coding best practices
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Docker, Jenkins, or similar
• Experience working in Agile development environments

Desirable Skills

• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Exposure to frontend technologies such as React or Angular
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services (EC2, RDS, etc.)
• Familiarity with observability tools such as CloudWatch or ELK stack
• Exposure to payment or fintech domain
• Basic understanding of distributed systems and scalability concepts
