Role Description The Accounts Assistant Manager / Accountant – Chennai is a full time, on-site role responsible for supporting and overseeing day-to-day accounting and finance activities for the company’s operations. This position will handle general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations,



and preparation of financial statements and reports. The role includes monitoring budgets and expenses, assisting with month-end and year-end closings, and ensuring accurate documentation for audits and compliance with relevant accounting standards. The individual will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders in Chennai and other locations to maintain accurate financial records, support management decision-making, and contribute to process improvements in the finance function.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in core accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Experience with budgeting, cost tracking, and basic financial analysis to support management decisions.
• Working knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid skills in MS Excel and other office productivity tools.
