We are looking for an Associate Director – Business Development to drive revenue growth, build strategic client relationships, and expand our presence across key markets.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in B2B sales/business development, preferably within Background Verification (BGV), HR Tech, HR Services, Staffing or related domain. This role requires a strong understanding of enterprise sales, stakeholder management, consultative selling, and business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business development and revenue growth across the assigned market.
• Identify and build relationships with enterprise clients and key decision-makers.
• Own the complete sales cycle — from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation, closure, and account expansion.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve revenue and business targets.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients across relevant industries.
• Engage with senior stakeholders including CHROs, HR Heads, Business Heads, Procurement, and CXOs.




• Identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and expanding existing accounts.
• Work closely with internal teams such as Product, Operations, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure smooth client onboarding and delivery.
• Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to identify recent business opportunities.
• Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and relevant networking forums.
• Own key business metrics including revenue, pipeline, conversion, and client acquisition.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in Business Development / Enterprise Sales / B2B Sales.
• Prior experience in BGV, HR Tech, HR Services, SaaS, or a related technology/services organization preferred.
• Strong track record of handling enterprise sales and large-value accounts.
