Description

Articore runs Redbubble, TeePublic, Dashery, and Frankly Wearing, several of the largest creator marketplaces in the world — Redbubble's catalog alone exceeds 40 billion SKUs. As a Software Engineer here, you'll design, implement, and maintain the systems that power both marketplaces, working closely with your engineering manager, tech lead, and product partners to ship work that matters across your domain.

The Native Apps team builds Redbubble's Android and iOS apps and the BFF that powers them, giving customers the best possible mobile shopping experience. As a Software Engineer on the team, you'll work primarily on our Android app, with the flexibility to pick up iOS or BFF work as the team's priorities require. You'll work closely with our AU-based Tech Lead, who sets technical direction and unblocks day-to-day work.

Feature development and platform integration: Design, code, test, and deploy software across the team's systems. Lead small to medium-sized initiatives that solve complex problems at scale,



in line with Articore’s Engineering Principles and architecture standards.

BAU maintenance and system health: Maintain and uplift existing services, manage tech debt responsibly, and ensure systems are well monitored with up-to-date documentation, under the guidance of the Tech Lead.

Own the health of the apps you touch: Crash-free rate, performance, monitoring, and test coverage.

Delivery collaboration and technical leadership: Participate in discussions on technical approach and feasibility, collaborate with team leads on discovery and scoping, translate business requirements into technical spikes and deliverables, and participate in team ceremonies including standups, planning, retrospectives, and showcases.

Coaching and people development: Coach and support less experienced engineers in technical development, positive engineering practices, and Articore values.

Innovation and roadmap input: Stay current on Android/mobile tooling and techniques
