ROLE PURPOSE
The Assistant Account Manager owns core finance operations for the business — accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and treasury — ensuring the numbers are accurate, deadlines are met, and there is zero room for discrepancy.
This role suits someone precise and deadline-driven, equally comfortable closing books,



reconciling ledgers, and staying ahead of GST/TDS compliance, while supporting smooth day-to-day financial operations across the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage accounts payable processes, including timely vendor payments and complete supporting documentation.
• Perform ledger scrutiny and ensure closure of discrepancies on a monthly basis.
• Support monthly book closure and preparation of financial statements — P&L;, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Ensure timely GST and TDS filings, and compliance with all applicable statutory regulations.
• Monitor daily cash flow and bank balances, and track loan repayments and other treasury activities.
• Verify agreements and ensure compliance before processing payments, including those involving related parties.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure the books are always audit-ready.
