• B.E./ B.Tech. (Chemical) + MBA from a reputed institute with 14-18 years

Key Responsibilities
(indicative not exhaustive)
Business Strategy & Planning
• Lead the formulation of the medium- and long-term strategy for the Advanced Intermediates business and run the annual strategic planning and portfolio review cycle.
• Track industry, geopolitical, trade and regulatory developments (including global supply-chain realignment, trade remedies and sustainability regulation) and translate them into clear strategic choices for the business.
• Build market and raw material outlooks, including price forecasting for key inputs, to support planning, budgeting and commercial decisions.

Margin & Cost Transformation
• Identify and drive structural margin-improvement levers, including strategic sourcing, backward integration, by-product valorization,



and process norms and yield, in partnership with operations and procurement.
• Improve realization through grade and product-mix upgrading, new applications, geographies and customers, and appropriate commercial and pricing mechanisms.
• Maximize utilization of existing assets through new products, markets and applications.

Portfolio & Business-Model Transformation
• Shape portfolio choices across existing products: where to grow, differentiate, rationalize or exit.
• Design and implement new business and operating models, including the transition of select businesses from product-selling to service-led and contract-manufacturing models.

Growth Projects & Pipeline Governance
• Build and manage a pipeline of large growth opportunities in adjacent and specialty value chains, taking each from idea through robust business case to investment approval.
• Establish and run stage-gate governance for recent products and projects
