Role and Responsibilities
Creative visual merchandiser responsible for designing and creating attractive visual displays for fashion department store which results in fresh & creative design ideas and also help in intuitive conversions. Follow mind to marker design strategies which will employ visual merchandising principles to convert show windows, instore clusters and facades into prospects by driving branding and sales objectives. This should also result in maximizing profitability, keeping in mind the brand’s visual and design aesthetics.

As creative and innovative thinkers, they shall use their skills in visual design and space utilization to enhance the aesthetic appeal of window displays, walkways, counters, and in-store displays across all categories. The designer should maintain the visual appearance to highest standards and in sync with company’s design values. Following are the responsibilities :
• Designing creative and innovative window display designs as per the brief.
• Creating a design language for different categories of stores keeping in mind the allocated budgets.




• Creating and arranging displays of merchandise that are visually engaging and are connected to the ongoing theme.
• Designing creative props and POP’s to enhance the visual impact of displays and create a cohesive brand image with 360 degree experience.
• Should be able to create 3D design renderings to get an understanding of design at a store level.
• Create the final prototypes of designs and share the design decks with the zonal teams and take the lead to work closely with team to execute it uniformly pan India.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends in visual merchandising, retail design, and related fields, and incorporating new ideas and techniques into displays where appropriate.
• Be in tune with current fashion trends to help and create styling decks as per the seasonal themes.
• Develop a strong base of vendors who can deliver best quality execution.
