About The Opportunity

Bayfield Food Ingredients is a Kochi-based food ingredients manufacturer serving the QSR, foodservice, bakery, dairy, snacks, meat, and beverage industries. The company develops customized seasonings, breading systems, bakery premixes and fillings, ice cream inclusions, sauces, and flavour solutions, backed by an in-house team of food technologists and culinary professionals. Bayfield partners with quick-service restaurant chains, food manufacturers, and foodservice businesses to help them bring innovative, excellent-tasting products to market.

Role & Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and onboard new B2B customers across food service, bakery, dairy, snacks, meat, and beverage segments.
• Own the end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, client meetings, product presentations/tastings, commercial negotiation, and deal closure.
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline and accurately forecast monthly/quarterly revenue against targets.
• Develop and execute account-specific growth plans for key customers to increase share of wallet and repeat business.




• Coordinate with the R&D; and culinary team to develop customized ingredient/flavour solutions based on client requirements.
• Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform product and pricing strategy.
• Represent Bayfield at trade shows, food industry exhibitions, and client events to generate leads and strengthen brand visibility.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM/sales tracker.
• Ensure timely order execution, payment collection, and resolution of customer issues in coordination with operations and supply chain.
• Report on sales performance, pipeline health, and market insights to sales leadership on a regular cadence.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within food ingre
