JD for Senior Onboarding

• Conduct comprehensive KYC/CDD assessments for customers, merchants, business entities, and partners as part of the onboarding process.
• Assess customer and merchant risk based on geography, business activity, transaction profile, ownership, customer type, and other relevant risk factors.
• Identify recurring onboarding issues, control gaps, and process inefficiencies and recommend appropriate enhancements to strengthen the onboarding and AML/KYC framework.
• Review and validate customer identification, business documentation, ownership structures, UBO details, Source of Funds (SOF), and Source of Wealth (SOW), where applicable.
• Escalate identified AML, sanctions, financial crime, or regulatory concerns to the appropriate Compliance head/MLRO team for further review.
• Perform PEP, Sanctions, Adverse Media, and Watchlist screening and appropriately assess and disposition potential matches.
• Identify and evaluate AML, sanctions, fraud, and other financial crime risks associated with customers, merchants, and business relationships.




• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for high-risk customers, entities, jurisdictions, products, and business relationships.
• Analyze complex corporate structures and establish Ultimate Beneficial Ownership (UBO) in accordance with applicable regulatory and internal requirements.
• Investigate inconsistencies, incomplete information, unusual documentation, and other onboarding red flags, ensuring appropriate resolution or escalation.
• Raise and manage Requests for Information (RFI/RFE) and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to obtain required information and supporting documentation.
• Provide explicit onboarding recommendations and risk-based decisions in line with internal policies, procedures, and the organisation's risk appetite.
• Maintain comprehensive case records, review rationale, supporting documentation, and audit trails to ensure audit and regulatory readiness.
