? About the Role
We are looking for an experienced QA Tester with 1-2 years of hands-on experience in software testing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, performance, and reliability of our applications before release.
? Responsibilities
• Analyze business and technical requirements to prepare effective test scenarios.
• Design, write, and execute detailed test cases.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, and Sanity Testing.
• Identify, report, track, and retest software defects.
• Work closely with developers and product teams to resolve issues.
• Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Validate application functionality across different browsers and devices.
• Maintain test documentation and provide testing status reports.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
• Support production releases and perform post-release validation.
? Requirements
• 1-2 years of professional experience in Software Testing / QA.
• Strong knowledge of Manual Testing concepts and STLC.
• Hands-on experience with Jira or other defect-tracking tools.
• Experience in API testing.
• Positive understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
? Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of Automation Testing using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working with REST APIs.
? Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant QA/testing certifications are an advantage.
