Position Summary
WTEC Energy India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Quality Engineer with a strong background in machining and fabrication quality. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of machined and fabricated components through inspection, supplier/site visits, documentation, quality control, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
The position requires extensive travel to supplier and project locations within India and internationally. Experience with electrical products/components will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Inspection & Control
• Perform inspection of machined and fabricated components as per engineering drawings,



specifications, approved procedures, and applicable quality standards.
• Conduct incoming, in-process, pre-dispatch, and final inspections at supplier location as required.
• Verify dimensional accuracy, tolerances, surface finish, welding/fabrication quality, and overall workmanship.
• Support supplier quality improvement and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure components conform to approved drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Identify and document non-conformities (NCRs) and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in root cause analysis and follow up on corrective actions with suppliers and concerned departments.

Measuring Instruments & Technical Knowledge
• Possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with measuring and inspection instruments such as:
o Vernier Caliper
o Micrometer
o Height Gauge
o Bore Gauge
o Dial Indicator
o Depth
