Role Description This is a full time on-site Cook role based in Tiruchirappalli. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to established menus, recipes, and quality standards. Daily tasks include ingredient preparation, portioning, cooking, garnishing, and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, following hygiene and food safety regulations, and organizing storage of ingredients and supplies. The Cook will collaborate with kitchen staff, manage timing for multiple orders, and help with inventory checks and basic purchasing or requisition of ingredients as needed.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in basic and intermediate cooking techniques, including preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards,



and kitchen sanitation practices.
• Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple orders, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with other kitchen and service staff.
• Attention to detail in taste, presentation, portion control, and consistency.
• Prior experience as a Cook, Assistant Cook, or in a similar kitchen role is highly beneficial.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the establishment.
• Basic educational qualification and formal culinary training or certifications are an advantage but not mandatory.
