About the Role

LinearStack is looking for a motivated Tier 1 SOC Analyst to join our cybersecurity operations team in Chandigarh–Mohali.

You’ll work in a hands-on SOC/NOC workplace, monitoring security alerts, investigating incidents, supporting network and system issues, and escalating threats when required.

Key Responsibilities
• Monitor security, network, and system alerts across SOC and NOC platforms.
• Triage and investigate security and infrastructure incidents.
• Perform initial troubleshooting and determine incident severity and priority.
• Escalate incidents according to defined procedures.
• Monitor and manage SOC/NOC support queues.
• Perform scheduled security and infrastructure health checks.
• Maintain accurate incident and ticket documentation.
• Support threat analysis and basic threat-hunting activities.
• Work with internal and external teams during incident resolution.




• Participate in a 24x7 rotating shift roster, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

What We’re Looking For
• Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience/training.
• Basic understanding of networking, cybersecurity, and incident response.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK;, Cyber Kill Chain, or threat intelligence concepts is an advantage.
• PowerShell, Linux/Unix command line, or scripting knowledge is desirable.
• Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, GSEC, SSCP, or similar are an advantage, but candidates currently working towards certification are welcome.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in Chandigarh–Mohali and within a 24x7 rotational roster.
