Key Responsibilities

• Maintain desktops, examination servers, network switches, routers, internet connections, printers, and related IT equipment.
• Install and troubleshoot Windows 11, approved software, drivers and peripherals according to authorised procedures.
• Diagnose desktop problems, including boot failures, display issues, missing operating systems, storage errors and network connectivity faults.
• Troubleshoot LAN connectivity, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, switch ports and network cabling.
• Check all systems, servers, internet links and network equipment before.
• Provide prompt technical support during examinations, escalate unresolved issues, and follow approved recovery procedures.
• Coordinate with TCS iON support teams, internet service providers, equipment vendors and AMC service partners.
• Check CCTV/NVR connectivity and recording status, and coordinate repairs when required.
• Monitor UPS status and coordinate with electricians/DG operators for power-related IT issues.
• Maintain equipment inventories, system-wise fault registers,



maintenance records, service tickets, and spare-parts records.
• Submit daily updates covering system readiness, faults resolved, pending issues and vendor follow-ups.
• Follow examination security procedures, protect credentials and confidential information, and prevent unauthorised changes to systems or networks.
• Complete post-examination checks, approved shutdown procedures, and handovers.

Additional Information

• Shifts may extend from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on most days of the month, depending on operational requirements. Such duties will include scheduled breaks and will be arranged within applicable working-hour and overtime limits.
• One weekly off will be provided each week. Its date will be scheduled and approved in advance by the reporting manager.
• Sunday is not a fixed weekly holiday.
• Employees must be able to report punctually for early-morning duties.
