About the RoleWe are looking for a head of software engineering to lead the technology and engineering team powering our growing payments and FinTech platform.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for building high-availability, low-latency transaction infrastructure, strengthening financial and technology controls, scaling engineering teams, and driving the technology roadmap for a high-volume payments business.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience across payments, fintech, banking or large-scale digital commerce, combined with the ability to lead large engineering teams and build technology platforms where reliability, transaction integrity, security and compliance are business-critical.
What You’ll Own⚡ Payments Infrastructure, Scale & Reliability• Own the architecture and engineering strategy for high-availability, low-latency payment and transaction processing systems.




• Build and scale infrastructure supporting high transaction volumes and thousands of transactions per second (TPS).
• Drive engineering for UPI, payment gateways, payment processing, merchant payments and integrations with financial/payment networks.
• Establish strong standards for availability, resilience, latency, capacity planning and disaster recovery.
• Build systems capable of scaling across products, transaction volumes, partners and geographies.
• Drive observability across critical payment infrastructure, including monitoring, alerting, distributed tracing and production intelligence.

? Financial Integrity, Reconciliation & Controls• Ensure technology architecture supports transaction integrity and zero-loss accounting.
• Drive robust ledger, transaction accounting and reconciliation systems.
• Build automated controls for transaction matching, settlement and exception man
