• Triage and classify incoming security incidents based on severity and priority
• Perform initial investigation and analysis of potential threats, malware, and suspicious activity
• Escalate confirmed or complex incidents to Tier 2/Tier 3 analysts as per defined procedures
• Document incidents, findings, and actions taken in ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks for incident response
• Conduct basic threat hunting and vulnerability awareness activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support security operations
