Position: Accounts Executive - Plant Finance

Location

Plant Location: Unnao (UP)

Reporting To

Finance Controller / Plant Finance Manager

Purpose of the Role

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities at the plant level, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, accounting entries, monthly provisions, inventory and fixed asset controls, and providing financial support to plant operations.



The role requires a proactive and self-driven skilled who can work independently with limited supervision while ensuring high standards of financial compliance and process discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable & Invoice Processing
• Verification, scrutiny, and processing of vendor invoices.
• Ensure proper bill passing as per company policies and approval matrix.
• Timely booking of supplier invoices in SAP.
• Reconciliation of vendor accounts and resolution of discrepancies.
• Coordination with procurement, stores, and user departments for invoice approvals.
• General Accounting & Month-End Closing
• Pass routine accounting entries accurately in SAP.
• Preparation and posting of monthly provision entries for expenses.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Preparation of schedules and supporting documents for audits.
• Inventory Control & Verification
• Conduct periodic physical inventory verification.
