Java Developer – Payments (3+ yrs) | PayPoint India | Mumbai (In office)

What you'll do
• Build high-reliability backend services for money movement: balances, transactions, settlements.
• Design ledger logic with strict transactional integrity.
• Handle concurrency, idempotency, and failure recovery at scale.
• Build reconciliation and audit-trail systems.
• Integrate with external financial systems and partners.
• Write secure, compliant, well-tested code.

Must have
• 3+ years of backend development in Java.
• Strong Spring Boot experience.
• Solid grasp of SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and transaction management.
• Understanding of concurrency and data consistency.

Good to have
• Experience building or working on a Core Banking System (CBS).




• UPI/NPCI, bank API, payment gateway, or KYC vendor integrations.
• Microservices architecture.
• Kafka or other messaging systems.
• Familiarity with RBI guidelines, PCI-DSS, or financial data security.
