? Character Modeling, Animation & FX Artist Intern

Are you passionate about creating game characters, bringing them to life through animation, and developing stunning visual effects? Do you want hands-on experience working with Unreal Engine and professional game art pipelines?

Akiyam Solutions is looking for creative and motivated Character Modeling, Animation & FX Artist Interns who want to gain practical experience working on skilled-quality game projects.

? Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 3D characters, creatures, and character assets for games
• Model and sculpt characters using Blender, Maya, ZBrush, or similar 3D software
• Create optimized, game-ready character models with proper topology and UVs
• Develop high-quality character textures and materials using PBR workflows
• Assist with character rigging, skinning, and skeletal setup
• Create character, weapon, gameplay, and cinematic animations
• Work with Animation Blueprints, State Machines, Blend Spaces, Montages, Control Rig, and animation retargeting




• Create and implement real-time VFX using Unreal Engine's Niagara system
• Develop effects for weapons, abilities, explosions, impacts, environments, and gameplay events
• Work with materials, shaders, particles, lighting, and post-processing to create visual effects
• Assist with cinematic animations and sequences using Unreal Engine Sequencer
• Integrate characters, animations, and VFX into Unreal Engine
• Optimize models, animations, and VFX for real-time game performance
• Collaborate with developers, game designers, level designers, and other artists
• Participate in reviews, playtesting, and iteration based on feedback
• Maintain production-quality standards across character art, animation, and FX assets

? Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with Unreal Engine 5
• Knowledge of Blender, Maya, and/or ZBrush
• Understanding of character modeling, sculpting, retopology, UV mapping, baking, and textur
