Position - Assistant Manager/Manager- Career Services
Job Summary: The Student Engagement Associate plays a critical role in fostering a positive and engaging experience for students while connecting them with the Career Services team and available resources. With excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and a welcoming demeanor, you will guide students through their career development journey, ensuring they take full advantage of all career-related activities, programs, and support offered by the university.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Communication Hub: Serve as the first point of contact for students seeking information or guidance on career services, placements, and training. o Act as a liaison between students and the Career Services team, faculty, and trainers to ensure explicit and timely communication. o Maintain an up-to-date log of communication with students, ensuring inquiries are addressed promptly.
2. Student Coordination & Resource Access: o Coordinate and schedule training sessions, workshops, and events.
o Guide students in accessing career resources such as resume-building tools, interview preparation materials, and networking opportunities. o Assist with facilitating connections between students and alumni or industry experts for career development and mentorship.
3. Student Engagement & Participation: o Promote active participation in career-related activities, including career fairs, roundtable discussions, and networking events. o Ensure at least 70% of the student population is actively engaging in these events, collecting and reporting feedback to continually improve engagement efforts. o Foster an inclusive, supportive atmosphere where students feel encouraged to pursue their career interests.
4. Feedback Collection & Reporting: o Regularly collect feedback from students on the quality and relevance of services and events. o Collaborate with the Career Services team to enhance offerings based on student input and trends. o Track and anal
