About the RoleTechnovate is looking for a Junior Structural Steel Estimator to join our team. This role is suitable for Civil/Structural Engineering graduates and candidates looking to build a career in structural steel estimation, quantity surveying, and construction estimating.

Key Responsibilities• Assist with structural steel quantity take-offs (QTO) and cost estimation.
• Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, tender documents, and cost estimates.
• Collect, compile, and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Support tender submissions, scope clarifications, and project handovers.
• Maintain estimating records and assist with RFI preparation when required.

Requirements• Degree/Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Architectural Drafting, or a relevant trade background.
• 0–2 years of experience in estimating, drafting, quantity surveying,



steel fabrication, or erection.
• Valuable understanding of structural drawings and blueprints.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, or similar PDF tools is an advantage.
• Strong numerical ability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Basic understanding of steel profiles, connections, and fabrication processes is preferred.
