Role Overview:
Lead end-to-end CNC machine shop operations for precision defence manufacturing, with ownership of production planning, machining processes, CNC programming, capacity, quality,



tooling, machine uptime, cost and continuous improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Lead complete CNC machine shop operations covering CNC turning, VMC/HMC machining and related precision machining activities.
• Own production planning, machine loading, capacity utilization, shift deployment and daily output against delivery commitments.
• Drive machining process development including process sheets, cycle-time optimization, cutting parameters, tooling, fixtures and work holding.
• Guide CNC programming and prove-out activities and ensure stable production on FANUC/Siemens or equivalent control systems.
• Monitor OEE, machine utilization, rejection, rework, downtime and tool consumption and drive productivity and cost improvement actions.
• Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, SCM, Stores and Project teams for material readiness, drawing clarity, inspection and delivery.
