About Trafasa
Trafasa is building an AI-enabled B2B procurement ecosystem to simplify sourcing, supplier discovery and procurement transactions. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can build and scale our vendor ecosystem from the ground up.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced professional who can drive vendor acquisition, supplier development, strategic sourcing and marketplace activation across Trafasa Circle and Trafasa Exchange.
This is not a conventional vendor-management role. We need someone who can personally identify, approach, acquire, onboard and activate current suppliers and build a scalable vendor network from zero to one.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute vendor acquisition and ecosystem-building strategies.
• Build category-wise and geography-wise supplier networks.
• Personally identify, approach, acquire and onboard new vendors.
• Develop supplier coverage across Steel,



MRO & Industrial Supplies, Infrastructure and Chemicals.
• Identify and engage manufacturers, distributors, dealers, stockists and service providers.
• Drive vendor registration, documentation, verification and category mapping.
• Facilitate product/service listings and seller activation on Trafasa Exchange.
• Encourage supplier participation in RFQs, quotations and auctions.
• Improve vendor engagement, response rates, transactions and retention.
• Build relationships with industry associations, trade bodies and industrial clusters.
• Develop scalable vendor acquisition processes and measurable performance targets.
• Work closely with Sales, Procurement, Technology and Management.
• Build and lead the vendor acquisition/category team as the business scales.
