About the job:
We're looking for an experienced Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Developer who also brings strong hands-on knowledge of Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO). In this role, you'll build and maintain the data foundation that powers our customer experience — designing schemas, ingesting and modeling data, and managing audiences in the Real-Time Customer Data Platform — while also helping activate that data through orchestrated, personalized journeys in AJO.
This is a hybrid data-engineering and marketing-technology role. You'll work closely with data engineers, marketers, and campaign teams to turn business requirements into scalable, well-governed technical solutions across the Adobe Experience Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

Adobe Experience Platform (AEP)
• Design and implement XDM (Experience Data Model) schemas, field groups, classes, and identity
namespaces
• Configure and manage data ingestion through streaming and batch pipelines, source connectors, and the Data Collection / Web SDK (Alloy)
• Build and maintain datasets, data flows,



and Data Prep mappings and transformations
• Configure Real-Time CDP (RT-CDP): profiles, identity stitching via Identity Service, merge policies, and audience/segment creation
• Write and optimize Query Service (SQL / PSQL) queries and support Data Distiller use cases
• Set up and manage destinations to activate audiences to downstream channels and platforms
• Implement data governance using DULE labels, consent policies, and the Privacy Service
• Integrate AEP with other systems via AEP APIs (Flow Service, Catalog, Segmentation, Profile)
• Monitor data quality and pipeline health, and troubleshoot ingestion or profile issues

Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)
• Design, build, and QA event- and audience-triggered journeys and orchestrated campaigns
• Configure message channels — email, push, SMS, in-app, and direct mail — including delivery and channel settings
• Build agile, data-driven personalization using AJO's expression e
