Job Purpose Summary:
The incumbent will assist the Vice President & Head of GIFT City Branch on all aspects of Finance and administration issues of QNB business in GIFT City IBU. Undertakes a range of specialized accounting clerical duties within a specific function.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities by Dimensions:
Shareholder & Financial:
• Provide the required support in monitoring limits and exposures with a view to improving the branch’s profits, whilst at the same time ensuring compliance with the consolidated/ overall approved limits.
• Ensure timely and accurate compilation of information required for disclosure of all material matters concerning the branch.
• Assist Vice President Head of GIFT City Branch in developing mechanisms designed to ensure compliance with all relevant local laws and regulations and also international laws and regulations.
• Assist Vice President Head of GIFT City Branch in performance monitoring and quality measurement purposes pertaining to the financial control related process.
• Observes and promotes cost consciousness and efficiency,



and enhance productivity, to minimize costs, avoid wastes, and optimize advantages for the bank

Customer (Internal & External):
• Establish and enhance relationships with regulatory authorities to ensure that all regulatory reporting requirements are complied with.
• Assist the VP - Head of GIFT city branch in liaising with external auditors on matters pertaining to presentation and disclosure of financial statements, emerging financial reporting trends, impacts of proposed accounting standards etc.
• Provide timely and accurate information to the external and internal Auditors, Compliance, Financial Control and Risk Functions as and when required.

Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory):
• Responsible for the preparation of Country Statutory Returns for Regulator and other local regulatory bodies as per local requirements
• Analyses data from statements, ledgers, accounts, etc.
