Hiring for an Associate in International Trade - Trade Consulting at Delhi location

Key Accountabilities:

• Advise clients on ever-changing trade policies
• Connect the dots between regulatory risks, business risks, and geopolitics
• Handle diverse subjects: Sanctions and Export Controls, Government Procurement, CBAM, BIS, ESG, other supply chain-related regulations and market access issues
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas, support senior partners, and provide support in firm-level initiatives
• Delivering impactful work and building relationships
• Occasionally travel

Desired Skills and Competencies:

• Familiarity with basic aspects of trade laws.
• Good research, drafting, and speaking skills.
• Positive command of language is a must.




• Familiarity with WTO principles – MFN, National Treatment & Exceptions, non-tariff barriers and other aspects of international trade such as sanctions, BIS, ESG etc. would be a plus
• Ability to take ownership of assignments and deliver the same without follow-up and much handholding

Experience and Education:

Education & Experience:
• Law Graduate from a known Law School with a strong academic track record with 0-2 years of experience in international trade/Customs
• Prior internship experience in international trade or customs would be added advantage.
