About the Role
Amunra is a proprietary trading platform in Indian equity and commodity derivatives,
working with managers, executing brokers and a custodian.
We are looking for an experienced operations qualified to run post-trade, broker and
custodian operations. The role covers reconciliation, margin and collateral, treasury
movements, counterparty onboarding, charge verification, reporting and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Trade, Position and Margin Operations
• Complete pre-market checks on cash, collateral, margin headroom and broker-configured limits against approved allocations.
• Monitor positions, P&L;, margin utilisation and exposure during market hours, and escalate limit breaches and operational issues promptly.
• Resolve trade, account, connectivity and data issues with brokers and the custodian.
• Coordinate expiry, physical settlement and corporate-action handling where positions require it.
2. Reconciliation
• Reconcile trades, positions, cash, collateral, margin and P&L; against broker contract notes, custodian records,
bank statements and AMC confirmations.
• Investigate and close breaks at source, and escalate material or recurring breaks the same day.
3. Broker and Custodian Operations
• Act as the day-to-day operations contact for executing brokers, clearing members and the custodian, and track their service against agreed standards.
• Coordinate account opening, KYC documentation, client code and segment activation, reporting feeds and user access and maintains records
• Independently recompute brokerage, statutory and custody charges, and resolve invoice discrepancies before payment.
4. Collateral, Treasury and Fund Operations
• Maintain entity-wise cash, holdings and margin capacity, and keep minimum operating buffers in place.
• Execute approved fund transfers, segment movements, margin allocations and pledge or unpledge instructions, confirming haircuts and the resulting margin benefit.
