Must-Have
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, OneLake, Pipelines, Warehouse).
• Expertise in Azure Databricks and Spark architecture.
• Experience with Delta Lake, Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Solid SQL development skills including query optimization and complex transformations.
• Experience building end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Fabric Pipelines.
• Knowledge of ADLS Gen2, OneLake, and data ingestion patterns.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD deployments.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
Good-to-Have
• Unity Catalog implementation and governance experience.
• Experience with Direct Lake and Fabric Semantic Models.
• Azure Synapse Analytics knowledge.
• Real-time streaming using Spark Structured Streaming/Event Hub/Kafka.
• Power BI development and optimization.
• Exposure to AI/ML workloads on Databricks or Fabric.
• Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate/Professional certification.
• Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer Associate (DP-700).
Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks.
• Build and optimize end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines using Fabric Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2
