Climate Data Specialist (AI Training)

About The Role

What if your years of environmental science expertise could directly shape how AI understands our planet's most complex systems — from shifting climate patterns to fragile ecosystems? We're looking for Climate Data Specialists with advanced degrees to develop and evaluate sophisticated problems in climate modeling, ecology, and sustainability that train the next generation of AI models.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working researchers and environmental scientists. If you have deep domain knowledge and a passion for rigorous science, this is a rare opportunity to apply it at the frontier of AI development.

• Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, rigor, and clarity
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to strengthen AI reasoning in environmental science
• Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of scientific integrity and precision
• Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Holds a Master's or PhD in Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science, Ecology, Earth Systems, or a closely related field
• Solid hands-on experience with Python or R for research, data analysis, or modelling
• Deep expertise in at least one of: climate modeling, ecology, sustainability science, or environmental data analysis
