Role Description The Sr. Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and platforms that support analytics, reporting, and AI-driven applications. Responsibilities include developing and optimizing ETL processes, implementing data warehousing solutions, and defining scalable data models aligned with business requirements. The role involves collaborating with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across systems. The Sr. Data Engineer will also monitor production data workflows, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to architectural decisions and best practices for data engineering. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area.

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Data Engineering and building scalable data pipelines.
• Candidates should possess solid skills in Data Modeling to design efficient, maintainable data structures.
• Candidates should possess hands-on skills in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and related tooling.
• Candidates should possess experience in Data Warehousing, including schema design and performance optimization.
• Candidates should possess practical skills in Data Analytics to support reporting, dashboards, and insights.
• Proficiency with SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python, Java, or Scala).
• Experience with contemporary data platforms and tools (e.g., cloud data services, distributed processing frameworks, orchestration tools).
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance practices, especially in enterprise environments.
