Role Description The CDP or Senior CDP will be responsible for supervising and executing daily kitchen operations in the Pune Division on-site. This full-time role includes planning menus within defined guidelines, preparing and presenting dishes, and ensuring portion control and quality consistency. The position involves overseeing commis chefs, coordinating production schedules, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting cost control measures. The CDP or Senior CDP will ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards, and support compliance with Sodexo policies and client requirements.
Qualifications
• Culinary expertise in hot and cold kitchen production, with strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.
• Experience supervising junior kitchen staff, delegating tasks,



and maintaining efficient workflow during service.
• Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene regulations, and sanitation practices, with a commitment to safe kitchen operations.
• Ability to manage inventory, support ordering and stock rotation, and assist in minimizing food wastage and controlling food costs.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a high-volume, rapid-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with culinary, service, and support teams.
• Relevant culinary education or certification from a recognized institute; prior experience as CDP or Senior CDP in institutional, hotel, or corporate catering setups is preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, adhere to company policies, and participate in ongoing training and development.
