Why this internship
When someone searches “salon near me” or “best café in Gurgaon”, the businesses that show up first usually have well-kept, accurate listings. That’s hyperlocal marketing, and it’s what we do for [multiple brands across industries], often across hundreds of locations each.
As an intern, you’ll work on real brand accounts from your first few weeks and learn the tools the team uses every day.
What your first few months look like
• Weeks 1–2: Get set up on our Hyperlocal Marketing platform, learn how Google Business Profile works, and shadow a team member on a live audit.
• Weeks 3–6: Run listing audits and research tasks with a mentor reviewing your work.
• Week 7 onwards: Own the audit and reporting for [one or more] brands, and present your findings to the account manager.
What you’ll work on
Listing audits
• Audit business listings on our platform and flag missing, wrong, duplicate or inconsistent information.
• Track listing health for your assigned brands and keep audit reports up to date.
Research & data




• Research and verify business details from online sources, across multiple brands and locations.
• Keep trackers and databases clean and accurate, and look at listing performance to spot what can improve.
Category & competitor research
• Figure out the right primary and secondary categories for different kinds of businesses.
• Benchmark a brand’s listings against its local competitors.
Review responses
• Reply to customer reviews on brands’ public profiles, starting from AI-drafted responses that you check and edit before posting.
Reporting
• Keep abreast of how things are moving and analyse the location performance on weekly and monthly basis.
• Write up what you found and what you’d recommend.
What you’ll learn
• Hands-on skills in Local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization, which are in demand at agencies and multi-location brands.
• Experience in competitor and category research, data analysis and client-style reporting.
