Pepper Communications Group (PCG) is looking for a Business Development / Sales Manager to drive new business and revenue growth.

This is a target-driven sales role. The primary responsibility is to identify the right prospects, generate qualified leads, convert opportunities and bring in new business.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and build a consistent pipeline of potential clients across relevant industries
• Prospect through LinkedIn, email, calls, networking, referrals and other outbound channels
• Research companies, decision-makers and business opportunities to identify potential clients
• Initiate conversations with CXOs, founders, marketing and communications leaders
• Lead the NBD cycle from Qualifying leads, setting up and lead initial business conversations and discovery calls, negotiating and closing new business
• Understand client requirements and work with the internal team to develop relevant proposals
• Follow up consistently and move prospects through the sales pipeline
• Maintain accurate pipeline,



lead and revenue tracking
• Meet monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets
• Build a healthy pipeline that supports consistent revenue generation

Skill Sets/Experience We Require

• 2 -4 years proven work experience in sales in a PR agency or a Digital Marketing agency
• Valuable verbal and written communication & presentation skills with strong business related knowledge
• Proven experience in lead generation and new client acquisition
• Strong understanding of the sales cycle — from prospecting to closing
• Comfortable with outbound sales and initiating conversations with senior decision-makers
• Strong communication, pitching and negotiation skills
• Highly organised and disciplined with follow-ups and pipeline management
• Commercially minded and focused on numbers, conversion and revenue
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of targets
