Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Desktop Support Intern to join our IT team. The intern will assist with day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up computers and peripherals, and helping employees resolve basic IT-related problems.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide first-level technical support to employees for desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues.
• Troubleshoot Windows operating system, software, network, and connectivity problems.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, applications, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access-related requests.
• Perform hardware and software troubleshooting and basic diagnostics.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including device setup and collection.
• Maintain IT asset records and inventory.
• Log, track, and update support tickets in the IT helpdesk/ticketing system.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT team members or relevant vendors.
• Follow IT security, data protection,



and company policies.
• Prepare basic documentation and troubleshooting guides when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, computer hardware, and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 applications.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and LAN concepts.
• Positive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.

Good to Have
• Familiarity with IT ticketing/helpdesk tools.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID.
• Exposure to Microsoft 365 administration.
• Understanding of endpoint management tools such as Intune.
• Basic knowledge of remote-support tools.
