Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and hands-on

Database Administrator (DBA)

with

4–6 years of experience

in managing and supporting production database environments. The ideal candidate should have solid practical experience in

Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB , with a solid understanding of database administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, replication, high availability, security, and troubleshooting. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the

availability, performance, reliability, security, and integrity

of business-critical databases across on-premises and cloud/hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain

Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB

database environments. Perform day-to-day administration and monitoring of production and non-production databases. Monitor database health, availability, capacity, and performance. Perform

SQL/query optimization, indexing, and database performance tuning . Configure and manage database

backup, recovery, and restore

processes.



Implement and maintain

replication, high availability, and disaster recovery

solutions. Monitor replication status and troubleshoot replication-related issues. Manage database users, roles, privileges, authentication, and access controls. Ensure database security and follow organizational security and compliance standards. Troubleshoot database incidents, performance issues, connectivity problems, and failures. Conduct

Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

for recurring or critical database incidents. Perform database upgrades, migrations, patching, and maintenance activities. Monitor database storage, capacity, and resource utilization and plan capacity accordingly. Automate routine database administration and monitoring activities using scripting. Coordinate with Developers, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Application teams for database-related requirements. Support databases hosted in

on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
