About the Role:
NMT Automation is looking for an experienced Factory Discipline & Operations Excellence Consultant from the automotive/manufacturing sector to strengthen shop-floor discipline, operational practices and adherence to defined systems and SOPs.
The person will bring strong automotive factory culture and shop-floor discipline into the organization and work closely with managers, supervisors and employees to build a culture of process adherence, accountability, ethics, safety, quality and operational excellence.
This is a hands-on shop-floor role for someone who has practical experience managing manufacturing environments and can lead behavioral and operational change through presence, coaching and example.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Shop-Floor Discipline & Governance
Drive professional factory discipline and adherence to established shop-floor practices.
Monitor daily shop-floor practices, employee discipline,



housekeeping and workplace behavior.
Work with managers and supervisors to establish transparent accountability for people, processes and productivity.
Identify gaps in discipline and operational practices and ensure timely corrective action.
Bring automotive industry standards and manufacturing discipline into the organization.
2. SOP & Process Adherence
Drive strict adherence to SOPs, work instructions, quality standards and defined processes.
Conduct regular shop-floor audits to identify deviations and non-compliance.
Coach employees and managers on the “why” behind SOP adherence , rather than relying only on enforcement.
Establish mechanisms for tracking recurring deviations and ensuring closure.
3. Employee Training & Capability Building
Design and conduct practical training programmes for shop-floor employees and managers.
Train employees on:
